A working computer is a terrible thing to waste.
According to industry research, approximately 150 million obsolete PCs are currently sitting in storage. Gartner estimates that more than 75% of PCs replaced out of the installed base in supply countries such as the United States are four or fewer years old, yet less than 1% are donated to charity.

The Refurbished Computer Initiative (RCI) is an innovative approach to helping corporations make surplus computer equipment available for charity reuse.
